Food Storage Class

Thursday, February 26, 2009
6:30pm
Primary Room

The owner of Kitchen Kneads will be coming to talk to us about food storage. He will be sharing recipes and bringing samples for us to try. He is not only very knowledgeable about food storage, but he has been at the point in his life where he completely relied on it. He and his wife lived off of food storage for 11 months without going to the grocery store once. He has asked that we invite our priesthood to come as well. You will want to bring something to take notes with as he will be sharing very valuable information.
Call Kathy 334.9660 or Andee 645.1379 with questions.

Fabulous Friday

Friday, November 7, 2008
5 :30pm-10pm
Stake Center

Dinner will be served at 5:30
We will have prizes & treats throughout the night

Below are the projects we will have available this year:

Turkey in a Pumpkin
Make any pumpkin look like a turkey. Five wooden feathers and a head poked into any pumpkin makes a darling fall decoration. All the pieces will be cut and ready to go, just come and mod podge scrapbook paper to each piece to give it your own style. All pieces will have a 1/4" dowel so it is easy to poke into the pumpkin. This will take less than 1 hour to make and is $6.00.

Nativity

A cute wooden nativity that is kid friendly. Let your kids play with and arrange this nativity any way they want and it won't break. Chunky wood pieces that stand easily on most surfaces. All wooden pieces will be pre-cut and ready to sand and paint. Cut out the graphics provided and mod podge onto the wood. This will take approximately 1 1/2 hours and is $9.00.

I Spy Bag

This I Spy Bag will entertain your kids for hours as they search for the items hidden in the bag. With over 30 items, it will provide endless fun. As your kids get older, they can read the scripture references listed and see why those items were chosen. This will take approximately 30 minutes or less and is $9.00.

Christmas Ad
vent
Every child is anxious for Christmas. This advent calendar will help them remember how much longer until Christmas day. Each day cover the number with a gem magnet (includes 24) and watch the days go by. Christmas will be here before you know it. This will take less than 30 minutes and is $6.00

Metal Family Sign
This family sign will look great in any home or be an excellent gift for any family member. We are limited on how many we can get of these. We would like everyone who would like one to have one first and if you are interested in more than one let us know.
$12

Bows
Come let Cathy Peterson show you how to make beautiful bows for your little girls, gift bows, barrettes, clips, headbands, etc. Bring your own ribbon and make as many as you want, or bring $2.00 and Cathy will provide the supplies.
Look What My Child Made Magnet
Any child loves to show off their artwork. Proudly display their artwork on your fridge with this magnet. Strong enough magnet to hold most art projects. Now everyone will know who colored all those beautiful pictures on your fridge. There are 3 options to choose from.
Option 1: Look What (child's name) Made
Option 2: Look What My Child Made
Option 3: Look What My Grandchild Made
This will take approximately 20 minutes and is $2.00.

If you are interested in signing up for any of these, please contact
